political interlude
here’s an interesting article about the guy i would have chosen for prez, and keris alerted me to this video of ann coulter, fascist fearmonger and darling of the neo-cons, showing hillary clinton some lurve. is she right - could (republican) john mccain really be to the right [doh, i mean left] of hills? alarming.
super tuesday should be interesting.

I read the Daily Mail today and it’s basically so crazily anti-Hilary that even I (a right wing bitch, apparently) found their writing utterly ridiculous. Check out Amanda Platell’s lovely words: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/columnists/columnists.html?in_article_id=511851&in_page_id=1772&in_author_id=463
Super Tuesday… I shouldn’t, but *squee*

Amanda is being a bit cruel and narrow-minded there - Hillary’s an accomplished politician in her own right, a trained lawyer, and much cleverer than Bill. She hasn’t just fallen off the turnip truck.
I do think maybe she has a point, though - I do think Hills’ political ambitions are more important to her than almost anything else, and I’m almost certain that’s why she kept her marriage together.
And I *hate* the line of thought that says any woman president is better than a man - uh-uh. That’s not feminism, that’s tokenism. I prefer Obama.

It’s just one of the worst opinion pieces I’ve read about the election so far.
I do prefer Hilary because I worry about Obama’s lack of experience, but I also firmly believe it doesn’t really matter as the Democrat candidate will get in anyway. Especially if it’s versus McCain, who is absolutely insane.
And it’s not like America to elect a crazy President… oh, hang on…
